As part of the Flea Market Site, the 3.7 acre public park provides the transit-oriented development site a dedicated space for residents to connect. Some of the amenities include a dog park, a junior sports field, bocce, jogging path, and a dining/picnic area.
The HMH landscape architecture team worked closely with KB Home to create an eco-friendly park that included the following sustainable elements:
Low-water use planting, which will reduce run off
Tree canopy for shading
Healthy organic soil
The project aims to create an active park that meets the community’s needs while providing a direct connection to the Coyote Creek Trail.
