1740 Technology Drive is a market-ready office building that covers 0.2 acres and is located in San Jose. The project aimed to create an inviting usable space in the footprint of an existing cold, dark, under-utilized sports court behind a parking garage. Select trees were removed to bring in more light, real turf was removed and replaced with synthetic turf for water savings, a bocce court and lounge areas were added, an existing BBQ was refinished, an existing basketball court was resurfaced and a new basket was installed. The project is now noticeably brighter, more inviting, and currently is utilized by employees during their lunch hour.
