Cupertino Financial Center

HMH partnered with Studio G to recently complete the Cupertino Financial Center. The client was looking to enhance the outdated courtyard which consisted of unhealthy trees, a broken fountain and old furnishings. This updated space now includes an infinity fountain, outdoor television, steel and ipe wood overhead structure, raised planter beds with laser cut aluminum panels, ipe wood lounge decks and an olive grove. The challenge of this site was that most of it is built above a parking structure and waterproofing was damaged and leaking. A large part of the project was removing the existing waterproofing and replacing prior to the install of the new landscape. The client was very satisfied and tenants frequently use the area as an outdoor workspace and have even held product launches and other corporate events in the space.
